Famous Footwear has opened their 2nd store in West Virginia offering their vast selection of brand name shoes. Baer’s Mattress Den, family owned and operated, has opened their 3rd location featuring a large selection of brand named mattresses. They feature no haggle pricing fast convenient delivery. GameStop, the world’s largest video game retailer has also opened their doors at The Marketplace. They currently operate more than 4,400 throughout the world and bring the video game excitement to Jefferson County.

The Marketplace is a 280,000 square foot center, part of the Potomac Towne Center development project in Ranson, WV. The Marketplace is anchored by Weis, Home Depot, Petco and Kohl’s and includes several other merchants are already open including Panera, Roy Rogers, Anytime Fitness, Hair Cuttery, Ledo Pizza, Hollywood Tans, Lin’s Chinese, City National Bank, Hallmark, Cingular, Executive Cleaners, UPS, State Farms, Famous Footwear, Baer Mattress, Glory Days Grill, US Cellular and GameStop. Additional merchants coming to the The Marketplace at Potomac Towne Center in 2007 including, Quizno’s, California Tortilla, Baskin Robins and Dunkin Donuts. There is a limited amount of space still available for lease at The Marketplace and more fine merchants will be added to the mix soon.
