Carl M. Freeman Companies is proud to announce Frank Theatres is coming to The Boulevard at Potomac Towne Center in Ranson, WV. Frank Theatres hopes to open the 12-screen state-of-the-art entertainment complex by Memorial Day 2008.

This is the second Frank Theatres project to come to West Virginia. The family owned business has been around since 1921 and currently operate 17 theaters across the Eastern US and have several more scheduled to open in the coming year. The company was founded by motion picture pioneer Samuel Frank who began his movie career with Jack Warner from Warner Brothers Movie and Cartoon Studio. The company is now operated by second and third generations of the Frank family.

This 2-story project will be approximately 50,000 square feet and offer a new destination and entertainment option to the Jefferson County area. The expansive stadium style complex will have unique mezzanine VIP seating that will offer waitress service from the café/restaurant and also private party rooms. The arcade will offer the latest in video game options in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

The Boulevard is the 2nd phase of the Freeman Companies Potomac Towne Center development project and is located on Route 9 across from The Marketplace which is already open. The Marketplace is anchored by Weis, Home Depot, Petco and Kohl’s and includes Panera Bread, California Tortilla, Roy Rogers, Anytime Fitness, Hair Cuttery, Ledo Pizza, Hollywood Tans, Lin’s Chinese, City National Bank, Hallmark, Cingular, Executive Cleaners, UPS, State Farms, Famous Footwear, Baer Mattress, Glory Days Grill, US Cellular and GameStop. Additional merchants coming to the The Marketplace at in 2007 include Quizno’s, Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts.
