Temporary Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Temporary Administrative Assistant in our Ocean View, DE office. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to our accounting and development staff. The hours are Monday through Friday during our normal business hours up to 40 hours per week. We are currently estimating that this position will be through April or May.

• Provide competent administrative support for our accounting and development staff as well as being a point of contact for Bayside Resort Golf Club and Bear Trap Dunes managerial staff.

• Duties will include maintaining a meeting calendar, generating and processing weekly reports, maintain office supply orders, coordinating monthly safety and staff meetings and answering telephones and directing calls accordingly.

• Other miscellaneous duties this position includes but are not limited to: daily mail pick-up and sorting/distribution, processing and recording of incoming invoices, as well as updating checkbooks and input of budgets, maintain human resource records and data entry.

• Must be able to perform other tasks as assigned.


Experience Required:

Required Education
• High School Graduate or GED preferred

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in administrative/office support position
• Strong reading, writing, communication and administrative skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and task management
• Ability to handle confidential material
• Understanding of standard software applications
